Free to good home - Mouse racer plan - ALL GONE!!
I have the plans for a Custom Models CL-2 mouse racer if anyone wants it.
I don't and won't be racing - too early old, too easy dizzy!

I do now but it's not loading - jpg, 800x600, 124 Kb - is that OK?
I've had no problem inserting images before.

Pretty sleek. Where does the tank mount? Is that it built into the nacelle?

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think Mouse racing rules state that the engine must be of an integrated-tank-type reed valve engine, so the tank should mount right between the engine and the fuselage
It is a nice and simple looking design.

Right you are, Kari. DUH! Forgive me, I'm a little slow on the uptake. I've always had a fondness for that swept back birdlike wingtip design, thus my love for Streaks.KariFS wrote:Correct me if I'm wrong but I think Mouse racing rules state that the engine must be of an integrated-tank-type reed valve engine, so the tank should mount right between the engine and the fuselage

Re: Free to good home - Mouse racer plan - ALL GONE!!
If you had one of Sig's air-foiled sheet-wings.. you could build that model in an afternoon! Looks like it uses 1/16" or 3/32" tail-feathers? I can't quite read the wingspan# on the plan.. but it looks like it might be 18"?? What are the detail-notes on the outboard wingtip? Looks like one is for a tip-weight.. and the other possibly a "skid".. whereas it uses a mono-wheel gear.
PS.. love the N-scale SF F9 diesel holding-down the upper r/h corner of the plan!!
