Not the best looking engine Ian!
I'd say it's the Joseph Merrick of model engines. Although Joseph was more beautiful inside than most of us... so maybe it isn't all that bad.

That's interesting Ian. A friend told me a while ago that he'd just purchesed an ED "Penny Slot" but I'd never seen one. I'd just assumed that it was in reference to the wide square exhaust stack that was common on so many of these early diesels, looking like a coin slot in a slot-machine.
