Hey Guys, I was wondering if anyone has run a TD .09 on a bladder tank. If so what size tubing? Latex or neoprene? And finally will it needle with the stock NVA. Thanks Mike

Hey dudes, just got back from the beach. Welcome Londke
The number one answer is, no it will not work with a regular NV. I don't know what a .09 NV looks like, but check Texastimers.com, click needle valves in the left frame. I just looked and they say they're for the .049s, but you might want to call or e-mail them. Kittingittogether.com might be some help. If you still can't find the right NV, ask at rcgroups.com in the 1/2A forum, and rcuniverse.com too.

Also click pressure bladders in the left frame at Texastimers.com and they show you everything you need for a bladder. Get the thin wall latex tubing. I make bladders out of 1.5 inches of this stuff and it holds 2 ounces of fuel easily. Click on the picture of their bladder assembly for more configuration ideas.

Here is one of mine with 1.5 ounces of fuel in it:

In the tail end is a 1 way valve to aid in filling, with a Luer Loc syringe adapter. The other fitting off to the side is where I bleed air out if I accidentally pump a buibble in. The front has a fitting for the fuel line. All of this came from Texastimers.

That's 1.5 ounces of fuel forced into 1.5 inches of tube, and if you notice that last 1/2inch of unexpanded tube... that would hold another 1/2 ounce or more. It's unfreaking believable. You have to "train" the tube to expand in the front. Wear safety glasses at ALL times.
