Why I like small town LHS's
Stuck here in Enid OK this week. Took a look in the yellow pages and seems they have a small hobby shop in town.
So I went to take a look.......

Sig Castor oil
Zinger props 7x3.5 and 6X3
2 .09 medallion glow heads NIP
6 perfect tanks of various sizes
1 .049 "W" head brand new
.09 engine mount
really small fuel tubing good for .020 TD's
He practically gave it all to me and said no one wants 1/2A stuff around here. He also said he sold all his 1/2A to a guy up in Canada.......Bernie?

Bob, you know where it is if you want it. I don't have much use for em. If you are needing it for a correct restoration let me know.

Re: Why I like small town LHS's
I have found MANY Cox items here! They had many planes, engine and parts for many years.
These are the items I remember getting up there (all NIP).
•Pee Wee .020
•TD .049
•Estes Babe Bee in folding plastic package
•1990 Flying Saucer
•1996 Piper Comanche
•4 Killer Bees
•about 8 Standard .049 Heads
•about 3 High Comp .049 Heads
•.09 TD head
•2 Pee Wee heads
•3 TD .010 heads
•2 TD .010 needles
•over 20 5x3 Thimble Drome props
•several 6x3 Thimble Drome props
•about 3 .010 props
•a few .020 props
•2 7x4 props
•5 Cox Starting Kits in box with fuel
•8 Cox Starting Kits in bag without the fuel
and many more...
They had much more up until a few years ago that I didn't get that I wish I did. They had a Fokker Tri-plane from the mid 80s that was there since the 80s it was gone the last time I went up there .
You have found some really good items there! I always like reading about peoples findings!

I probably should have said that I didn't buy all of this at once LOL. This was all purchases over a few years.
Re: Why I like small town LHS's
Yeah, I figured as much. I was only kidding. Still though. I have never seen a NIP Cox anything sitting on a shelf lately.
