Cox Canario Empty Cox Canario

My neighbor told me he had an old plane with an engine I could have. It was a Cox "Canario" with an electric motor. It is pretty beat up, no servos, radio system, manual, pretty top of box, etc. Just the E motor, battery, charger, (which is broken) and airframe.

I was thinking about sticking a PeeWee in the power pod, and making into a powered glider. Unless of course it is of sufficient value to someone.

Looking around, now it seems it was an ARF rather than an RTF - thus no radio equipment.

Man. I would have gotten all sorts of excited if my neighbor told me he had a Cox airplane for me! I know a guy who saves anything diesel, CL, and .049 for me. He gives me good deals too.

What is the wingspan of the Canario?

I would never spend that kind of money on a late 80's EL plane.

So funny you posted the filty rich comment. I seen a lifestyles of the rich show for some rapper, cant remember who, who had one of those and crashed it on the top of his house while he was flying it for the camera. He didn't return the throttle to neutral and climbed up for it,,it was smoldering on the roof with the prop stuck and full power applied,,lol.

Thats tears it...........I`m moving to where there are nicer neighbors ,by comparrison my neighbors are jerks lol!
