hm. this is usually a sign that the engines is running much too lean.
Could you please tell me what fuel compostion you are using?
Also, what size is your Battery that you use?

Cox Sure start 0.49 won't Empty Not getting fuel

It is not getting fuel. Plugged fuel line? Dirty reed? Bad tank gasket?

My guess is a blocked fuel system somewhere along the line.
Provabl some dirt in and around the reed valve.

Yeah, probably not getting fuel.

Here's a manual that should run you through the entire starting procedure.

If you haven't already, take the whole thing apart and clean it. There could be dirt or oil clogged somewhere blocking fuel and airflow.

Oh yeah, I found good sized metal shavings in a few of my Sure Starts! Not quite necessary but I did put all the parts from a sure start in a ultrasonic jewelry cleaner once and found a bunch of aluminum "dust" and small shavings!

Forgot about the shavings! Yeah, definitely look for that. It'll destroy the engine. Another quality *stes feature. Rolling Eyes

Also, give it a a big prime by squirting some fuel into the cylinder. It it doesn't run for 1/2 a sec, there's a problem.
