I started the machining of the crankshaft of my twin baby. Here are some pics.
The crankshaft is same as the twin "Gmark"

You have done a really nice job Chris, I do hope you get a video of it running.

Are you planning on doing any work to the tank/intake? I am sure the extra cylinder will require more fuel and air flow.

The normaly tank for the baby bee is a 5cc tank. With the twin is a 8cc tank .

True, just that the venturi hole and fuel inlet is sized for a single cylinder. It may work fine for two, just thought I would bring it up. It may be something you already thought of anyway.

Very nice Chris. How about a picture cutting the cylinder threads in the crankcase? Think that would be one of the trickiest parts of the project, both setup and the fine threadform.

Not too late to submit to "Engine of the Month".

What size prop?

the prop is a 8x6 master airscrew, but it's so big, a 7x4 is better

absolutly beautiful work!! ive oftern thought of doing one aslo esp tp put in a scale rc j 3 cub project ive had in mind for years...now a four cly one would be exelant iffa only i could figger out how to do it
