WTB: Cox 15 Sportsman
Anyone have one they are willing to part with?
I see Rureelybob has one listed on ebay. I'll watch it, but it seems he gets bids from nowhere on a lot of his items.

That is a nice one, but with 6 bids and 5 days left it ain't going to go cheap.
The Sportsman really wouldn't be classified as rare, although it is not overly common either. You may be able to pick up an ok used one for $50 or so.
Are you looking for a Sportsman only or would any Cox .15 fit the bill?

These usually go for more than $50 used. Somewhere from $75 to $125. My NIB one cost me $225.......

Well, you paid to much. Stay off the bay
Jusy kidding, I was talking about private sales, guess I should have been more clear. I sold one for $50 does that count?
I apologize for any confusion Jim, you will pay a little more on EBay.
Edit: Jason has a pretty good handle on current market trends, I would go off of his value assessment.

Re: WTB: Cox 15 Sportsman
I only want a Sportsman. I did have an Olympic for a while, nice certainly, but now I'm after the Sportsman. Travis would you send me a p.m. with some more details on yours? How is the crank to case fit, compression and piston/rod play, big end? Does the plug light? Or, I can call you if you send number.
Thanks, Jim
Thanks, Jim

I can reset the early 15 pistons if needed.
