Auto- Gyro projects?

Auto- Gyro projects?
I have a guy sending me plans for a 1/2A auto-gyro project. I know several friends that have full size auto-gyros and I have one of the Cox plastic models. The Cox doesn't fly that well, they need a throttle. Anyone else played with them?

Hey there is plans for a gyro control line called
R049 that seems quite a nice model have it somewhere it was a free plan with article in aero modeller many many years ago I think 1980's off the top of my head will have to look it up was along the lines of the cierva design if I have spelt that right am not too sure but the guy who invented gyros nice model simple but good looking and a proper gyro ... No wings at all relays just on the rotors will find out which month and year it was I have the plans but have no way of digitising them I'm sure someone with a scanner will chime in

I most likely going to build a military type heli with a carrier tail hook system. We fly them in a just for fun carrier event. They are not legal in a carrier contest.

Finally got mine done
It's not a 1/2A although that would be very interesting to come up with. Now that it's finished I can maiden it and finally start on either a Cox 1/2A CL or RC as I planned.

It look alot like the KA-1 a friend of mine designed and built. It looks really nice. I'd like to see a close up of your rotor hub, if you would.

Hub close-up
Here's the pics you wanted. Just a simple collet design. I think it's a 3mm shaft on the motor.
