nice job! great video! I want to work on a Cox powered 2.4 car with my son, he's interested in 2.4 RC cars. And I thought we could combine my love or Cox engines and his of RC cars. Is there a chasis and body out there we could buy and put a Cox engine without going with the collector items?

Thanks

not really best bet getting a old cox car not the sand blaster it is nearly impossible to fit and make rc.

I did a few and the  van and the vanblaster and road blaster and interceptor are probably your best bet,

I have put some on e-bay I have one up now all done up.

But I put the running chassis only up and they sell for like $100.00 or a little more is a steel for all the equipment I put into them and building them and testing them out and making sure everything works correctly.

I am going to be putting up a full ready to run 2.4 rc chassis the roadblaster interceptor type in a few days starting bid $99.00 all you need to do is find a van body or any of the bodies that fit it...or do what I did and put a associated 1/18 late model body on it but it's kind of a pain to do.

here is what chassis is that I am putting up on E-bay a few days from now not exact radio though and you will need to add a body.

I enjoyed the Sandblaster vid!!! The occasional "puffs" of exhaust... the "slo-mo" jumps and splashes... very cool!

I remember there were "pull-cord" starters... Is this how "your" Sandblaster and other vehicles are started? I have 3 Cox heat-sinks and a "Dumas" water-jacket for boats. I don't know that I'd trust the water-jacket though... If it got clogged/didn't flow, you could over-heat real quick... it's "heavy"... not to mention the added drag of a water "pick-up" tube. You wouldn't have those issues if running a heat sink... plus; they're designed by Cox... "expressly" for their engines.
