Davis Diesel is not too happy with us lol

Davis Diesel is not too happy with us lol
Bought a couple of his de-varnishing brushes on eBay and below is what we got:
Bernie, we have refunded your money. We are not selling you anymore of our products for you to just copy and sell.
- davisdieseldev
And our reply
Bob,
First, you are in breach of eBay's TOS.
Second, this is the best way to accumulate bad vibes in the Cox community.
Third, it will not be possible for you to prevent me from acquiring your brushes as long as they are for sale, as anyone of our contacts in the USA can buy them. Are you going to void every transaction for those in the future because you are afraid that someone may be buying for me?
Fourth, we would never prevent you or any of our competitors from buying our products; whether they copy them or not.
Fifth, we have sent you many customers, mainly for diesel fuel but, knowing your stance, we will remove the link to your website from our fuel guide.
So, you are not preventing anything but have now created negativity. I think that was unnecessary and the loss in fuel sales surely cannot justify you making me buy the brushes through a 3rd. party
Cheers
Bernie

my goodness... the man cut off his nose... to spite his face. C.I. is not Davis' competition... if they even "have" any.
Re: Davis Diesel is not too happy with us lol
He is quite upset with me, mainly because of the diesel heads. But hey, whatever
I have no intention of copying (manufacturing) his brushes. Will just take some measurements and locate a stock product.

I call my son Wimpie since he likes burgers so much. He puts down 3-4 at a time. Maybe we can trade for something small. If interested shoot me a PM.

Sorry to hear this...but it's business. lol, so are you gonna start making diesel fuel? I'm sure Cox wasn't to thrilled with his head conversions, back in the day.Cox International wrote:He is quite upset with me, mainly because of the diesel heads. But hey, whatever

I'm sure he doesn't manufacture the brushes, I'd look for them in gun/shooting catalogs.

You can use either 10mm or .45 cal stainless bore brushes. That's what I use. They are inexpensive. I think about $1 or so. Andy

Thanks to everyone and we will definitely not be selling fuel ... costs like $80 to ship from Canada lol.anm2 wrote:You can use either 10mm or .45 cal stainless bore brushes. That's what I use. They are inexpensive. I think about $1 or so. Andy
I was planning to buy generic brushes but wanted to try one of his out for size.
