The combination 50' garden hose/extension-cord set would be perfect for "icing-down" the sled-hill AND powering the inflatable lawn ornaments at the same time!

Made me laugh. However there are a few things in the store worth your money, like the orange handheld butane torch.
We actually have the 4000 watt HF generator.

Actually, I buy a lot of stuff from Harbor Freight and have always been pretty happy with my purchases.
Re: Hazard Fraught Tools
I bought a slide hammer from them, lasted 2 whacks before the end sheared off. On the other hand I bought a small MIG welder that has lasted 8 years so far.

I ended up getting the 7k version. After a fair bit of research it seems that most Chinese generators are essentially the same with a large number of replacement parts interchangeable.
The only other choices are a Briggs and Stratton or a Honda. The Honda is quieter (important for some applications like the DJ booth). Both are more expensive. Of course larger generators open up more choices, but those are significantly less than man-portable.

Whenever possible I prefer to buy tools and equiptment of US manufacture and built by American labor EVEN if it is not the "cheapest".
A novel idea in these days of ever-expanding national debt, devalution of the US dollar, unemployment and great anxity over the America future.
The bright-side is the DJI which is now over 17K and rising.

If I can afford to to I will. I didn't have power at the time I purchased.

Re: Hazard Fraught Tools
While it may or may not come as a surprise to anyone here, during my 25 Year tenure with our local Procter & Gamble Diaper Factory, I occasionally made it my business to be a Royal Pain in the Butt for the company's management.
To that end, I created my own, mythical tool company: RAMCO !! Using "Technical Drawings" and "Tool Ads" to make statements on assorted issues and events, I'd market a new tool whenever I felt it warranted.
This one, I thought, was gonna get me fired, but amazingly, I heard nothing about it. Even though the term had yet to be created, it "went viral", appearing in machine shops and the tops and sides of tool boxes all over the plant...an extreme compliment in my view.
In context. the plant had instituted a "no tolerance policy" for injuries on the job. Paraphrasing, they had so many safety policies in place that there was simply no excuse for ANY injuries, severe or otherwise. Techs literally became fearful of losing their jobs for any injury, no matter how slight.
So...when a manager cut her hand wide-open with an ice cream scoop...at a Safety Record Celebration...and the management "Investigating Team" ACTUALLY blamed the ice cream for being too hard...well...I just couldn't let all that irony ride....

That was a good laugh and would perfectly fit in the page at the beginning of this thread. What's a Suck 'o matic extractor? I would think a vacuum cleaner? or one of those NASA toilets in space?

The complete title was: "The Suck-o-Matic Team Leader Extractor"...which was marketed in response to a certain Line Leader who had a penchant for "nosing up" to his manager, often at the expense of other team members, and while shamelessly promoting himself.
This was Ramco's debut offering, and unfortunately the original was lost over the years (though I'm sure some copies MUST still survive in home scrap-books)
For a visual image, simply imagine a gear-pulling type device, with curved, cushioned Butt Pads in place of the hooks, and with ankle straps attached at the end of the threaded rod.
I never really made an attempt to save the drawings, preferring to just turn them loose to the fans...something I regret now as it would pretty much provide an illustrated chronology of my Diaper Career !!
