Well, the plane I bought at the first of the month finally arrived today.  Nice and new Cox Cub, circa 2002 (the date on the box).  It's in mint condition, but the box did not have the instructions.  Does anyone have a copy of the instructions saved somewhere?

Cool!   Thanks a bunch, Mark.  That really helps me.  I find it amusing that the definition of aerobatics in the instructions is a 60° wingover.  Hey! I'm an aerobatics expert!

That's a nice Cub, Mark. I didn't know they (Estes) were still making CL .049 RTF's in 2002.

It really is/was a nice plane (the other Mark's Plane) I can't remember who designed it, but it's well designed, good wing area even has tip weight. Probably ten years too late, apparently Cox thought they could make some money off it?

If Cox had made things like this through the 80's and 90's instead of the crappy WINGS planes, they might have actually stayed afloat....

Nah, probably just wishful thinking.

Thanks for the rest of the pages, Mark.

yep, I was gonna mention that (Wings) it seems like they might of figured out that cheaper wasn't always better.

I don't remember dates during the Estes days, but the info shows the engine with extruded case, they must of been using up what they had left, as the cast (Made in China) engines came out about this time or a little prior?

That model is new in the box, just the way it came from Cox, still in it plastic wrap. Even has a fuel bottle.
Starting at 85$, thats most likely what it will go for.
