I really like these Black Hawk kits, superior to the old comparable Scientific kits in every way.

This one is a profile Mosquito kit that may not be available any longer as I can't find it in their inventory. It has nice scale balloon wheels and excellent balsa, nicely formed landing gear wire also.

Thinking about a couple of Black Widows on this one as mounts are vertical. I'll save the Gilberts for a more conventional horizontal mount. Gotta finish the Nieuport first though.

Here is a video of mine. The only thing I would suggest is beefing up the nacelles with some triangular hardwood or maybe glass them. On my 3rd flight the outboard engine decided to depart tank and all. It flew about 200ft before going into the woods. Luckily no injuries or property damage. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HJ6n35yB8AU

Nice, that's a screaming little machine. I hope you found your engine and got it back together. What kind of engines do you have on it?

Be sure and practice a few stunt patterns. You'll win beginner in May. Or maybe you can give me some trouble if you're ready for intermediate. I'll still be in that class. Looking forward to a fast winter and back to warm weather.

NICE!! Yes.. I love the sound of twins when they sync-up!! Did the outboard engine quit first during that flight? It even flew reasonably well with one engine. Is there any out-thrust offset on the outboard engine in case the inboard one quits first? I built a twin once with Cox Bee's and ran an 8cc tank inboard and a 5cc outboard. What were you using for line.. and how long? Were you using the wheels that came with the kit?

Rusty, stock Norvel .061. Yes I found the engine. Roddie, I have had both inboard and outboard quit first and it does not matter. It flies well on either one solo. I just put the same out thrust in both. I was flying on 45 ft lines but I think 52 would be ok also. Lines were Power Pro Spectra. 20lb test. Its very fast and line tension is no problem. Stock wheels but they are a little heavy. It does not glide really well. I would probably use some lite wheels next time.

Thanks for posting that video. Wow, that is fast, I will have to hone my skills on something slower before attempting the Mosqueto. Haven't flown C/L for at least 30 years.

Nice video man and dang that is fast. I've always wanted to try a C/L twin. I've had a couple of R/C twins in the past, a P-38 and an Hobbico Twin Star, The P-38 I lost due to losing an engine on take off back in the early 90's. I've been thinking about building a F82 in the future. (Bandit)
