I may sell my new Queen Bee complete. No box or papers but engine has never seen fuel or been mounted. I just bought a Paw .061 and more compact engine.
What you will spend to complete yours a whole engine would be way to go. It is mint and undamaged and fine compression. I have not set my computer for pictures at this time. Former owner went to all electric and I bought it from him. I was going to use it in a Super Sniffer FF ship.

I am sure someone was selling a queen bee muffler and glow head adaptors on eBay but you do not need a muffler to run the engine.

Q/B muffler is a big plus when you use it on model. Gets the oil away from your plane. Engine looks well made and very smooth. Nice sport engine and uses a regular plug right from the start. No glow heads or conversions.

Ive been told the TD09 head fits it but ive not tried ,if so just get someones old td head and drill and tap it to take a plug,

The muffler i wouldnt bother as they are not that noisy and its good to prime it in the exhaust to help it start, they have a less offensive noise than a .049

Ok, maybe you could modify one from the toki .05 engine to fit.

or, you could make one out of aluminum air conditioning piping.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJjLg-67m1o
the guy is pretty weird, but its pretty easy to make if you have some basic welding skills.
you'd have to scale it up a notch, to fit the thicker cylinder, but i think it would be managable.

I think MECOA male a diesel head for the tee dee .09 and if the heads are the same it should be compatible with the 0.074 but I am not sure if the queen be can hold up to the stress of diesel operation and it may overheat easily like the tee dee 09 on diesel.
If the heads are not compatible then I am sure ylibcould make a diesel head even if you dont have a lathe.

Post  dankar04 Fri Aug 19, 2011 1:09 pm

Hearing this run it sounds pretty good. No speed demond but not bad at all for sport engine. Plus had carb and good muffler. If you want to fly Diesel but a Diesel. Paw makes some real sweet engines. My .061 is wonderful. Break a crank and see how much it will cost.

Looking at my .074 a Diesel conversion should work fine as it looks well built. Paw offers a wide range of Diesels .034/.049/.061. .09/.15/.19 thur.60 Smaller ones can be bought UC or RC. Bigest I ran was a Hunter 3.5cc .21 and man had tons of power. Dan Flying lol!

http://www.eifflaender.com/index.htm

that is the PAW website they deliver worldwide and the are terrific engines i love them to bits diesels will always have a special place in m heart and that is one reason that i WILL manage to run a .010 on diesel even if i have to hand make the crank with a file and drill.
