I am also an addict but would have thought 2x before committing to buying this engine...we all can assemble  an equivalent from parts sold by Matt and/or Bernie from only a fraction of this price....

So this is certainly a collector's item of one of the rarest COX engines, and will not die in the nose of a plane..just noting this while sitting laid back satisfied, because I also have a number of expensive engines that only my addiction drove me to buy.... Very Happy

Wowwser! Looks like a bidding war between a newbie and a well versed buyer. Also, not a bad deal for the first time seller, or someone who just set up a seller account. Anybody know what the Evilbay takes in %$ now days? I assume it's 30-35% ??

I'd understand a more rare early Cox engine going for that sum, but not the much later Venom, IMO. I guess some have money to burn. Hot

Hard to believe 1% of the worlds population owns over 90% of the wealth.
