Hello Everyone,
I have a blue Kenbrite marketed Cox Sure Flyer P39 Airacobra.
On the box it says copyright 1974. Is this correct, and was it actually made here in Australia, but still having Cox USA moulded underneath.
I bought this aircraft brand new in the early to mid 1970's. I have only started it once, then cleaned the motor. It has good compression, and comes complete with the box.
I saw listed on US Ebay 2 red Airacobra's for sale. They are not Sure Flyers ,so are these earlier that my blue one. Also, can you get repro stickers for my blue one, as I need the sharks teeth and canopy stickers.
Kind Regards from Down Under,
Doug

Looks sorta like this?

Anybody like the Wen Mac version? Here’s one near Detroit,mi: it might be overpriced?

Never knew Cox made a p-39. I think the Kenbrite models were actually made here in Oz. At least I'm led to believe the PT-19 Trainer was.
The P-39 looks way smaller than the Wen Mac version. I have one of them and it looks huge (using the engine as reference) compared to the picture of the Cox version. The shark mouth sticker may be similar enough to the P-40 version which I'm sure you could get.

Rod.

Hello Everyone,
Yes the blue one pictured is identical to mine, and many thanks for your replys.
I hope to be able to try and get some stickers to restore my P39.
Kind Regards, and thankyou for looking at my post.
