Re: My NOS plane collection
What are you needing to know? This is the Cox engine forum after all. Ask away! Thousands of years of collective knowledge here, collectors, runners and flyers. We have it covered.
Running a Cox engine is as simple as can be, you just need to do it! Flying on the other hand takes a little practice. Best to learn on balsa rather than vintage plastic.

Re: My NOS plane collection
I wish I had the vintage tether cars from the 1940s and on, a Friend of mine has a collection of the old stuff, sounds like $250 K may snatch it up, I am happy with what the old timers call Plastic, Meaning Cox Cars. There is a old tether Car Track Circle at Lenape park in Sellersville PA, went for a walk past it Yesterday, maybe can be seen from Google Earth???

I'd say the top left is a Skystreak. Not sure why the plain box though.

Old tether car track
If you Google Landis Supermarket in Perkasie across the street from it is a fenced-in dog park and a pavilion behind the wooded section next to the dog park is the old tether car Circle I don't know if it's visible with the trees and Shrubbery now that's all coming up

Re: My NOS plane collection
That's pretty cool that there's disc golf and the posible smell of caster in the same area. My R/C flying field is on the same road as my local disc golf course!
