Help! Tower Hobbies Power Panel

https://www.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXACW8&P=ML I have one of these and recently it atarted putting out 12V from the glow plug outlet , i have not taken it apart yet but was wondering if anyone has had this problem and been able to fix it ? Thanks in advance

Probably the MOSFET that drives the glow driver circuit shorted out. Can test with an ohm meter across drain and source. If you measure close to 0 ohms with the power removed that’s your problem.

Take a pic of the back of it.

mine did this
I am a HAM...means.... I am dangerous with a multi-meter
Too many el cheapo surface mount components

VDC output should be 1.2...measured as 11.7 (Batt Voltage....) some component was shorted ..no clue what one

I just replaced it with the slightly more expensive Hobbico version...they are the exact same part so 3 bucks more no diff on warranty....
