Says it's 46" long 18" wide. Big enough for a kid. Put a lawn mower engine in it and go cruising.

Now I do not know if it is just me or not, but does anyone else possibly remember a thread somewhere here about a child size car like this? After reading this post twice now, I am starting to feel I remember seeing somewhere that they made a few child size cars. Heck I even want to say what I remember is teh car was red.
And, if nobody else here remembers what I just rambled about, it was probably just a ramble coming from that empty part of my brain upstairs....

Well if you're crazy then so am I (actually I think that's already been confirmed) but anyway I remember exactly the same thing.
I tried to find the thread but was unable to locate it.

Cylinder, piston, head etc were from a Baby Spitfire/Spitzy.

I was going to post the same, but couldn't find any reference to it. 1/4 midget racing was popular in the 50's and there was even a track at the site of Disneyland before it opened. Several 1/4 midget car builders were in CA and they looked very similar, but I don't think any were cast aluminum like that. Maybe Roy Cox commissioned a one off? It seems unlikely anyone would put the time into casting the Cox logo into it otherwise.
