Need advice re. engine size
A customer has a 6' and change (2M) glider that weighs around 2 lbs (aprx 1 KG). A good engine would be a Cox TD09 with 25% to 35% Nitro and a 7" prop? The aircraft originally came with an OS Max .10.
Re: Need advice re. engine size
I have a Carl Goldberg Gentle Lady sailplane with an OS 10FP on the front and it would go near vertical with that engine. Any .049 with a center wing power pod will fly that airframe. Depends on what kind of performance is needed.

I used to fly a Goldberg Gentle Lady with a Black Widow on a Cox plastic power pod. It was a great combo.
