Always been my goal...a cox powered RC plane! Really tired of the problems with the electric foamies!

I'm glad you like the model, as soon as the plane of this plane is available for PC, I will share it so that you can make / manufacture it.
Remember that this model is capable of flying at very low speed, so it is not necessary to have a lot of experience in radio control flight. The COX FUN MODEL will be able to satisfy many enthusiastic modellers regardless of their experience.

Well, I really liked the result of the Cox Medallion .049 engine with this model, so I got to make a Cowl for him.
The Red color is because it marks "power", and the star is because the engine behaves in an exemplary, safe way, always in constant safe work.
Well then, so it is, the Cox Fun Model, already with the Cox Medallion .049 r / c and his new Cowl, especially for him.

This 6 page thread (and counting) is an education in itself. Nice job Mauricio, attention to detail and a fabulous finish makes for a beautiful model. You have every right to be proud of your accomplishment.

I am very happy to do this, because some interested people may build the model and from there, they will be able to enjoy what this model allows them to do.
This design brought me many joys and that is why I would like more people to do it and enjoy it.

The Cox Fun model hadn't flown for a long time, so, after giving it a rest, I took it to the track and I really like how it goes and also the response of the engine at all times.

Nice looking plane and on my "to make" list for this winter.

I too am questioning my move to electric propulsion, what's the point if I have 6 Cox 049's to use !

Dear friend Eric, thank you very much for your words, I am very happy here in the company of all of you. I really really like being here.
Contributing to the hobby is a very special feeling for me, since as a child I did not have resources or anyone who could help me, so I like to put everything I can on the web while time allowed me, I know someone will it will be useful sometime and after all, it is what will remain, we are passing through and this form is a contribution that I make like many of you.
If at some point I visit the United States, a country which I have a lot of respect and affection for, I would like to meet you in person and have a few beers, I would really like to meet you my friend.
Regarding the .049 r / c medallion that I installed, well, it becomes faster in response and in speed, they are two different ways to enjoy the model, since with the Babe Bee .49, it also works very well, well, I like it both ways.
