DIY Mini Inline Fuel Filter for Cox TD .010
I made this mini inline fuel filter, yet I didn't try it.
I cut a short piece of silicone tubing. Then I sliced a small piece of foam stripe from a package foam. Placed this small foam stripe into silicone tubing, then inserted two vinyl fuel tubing at both ends. I tried it with a syringe and it sucks air easily. Need to try on engine.

Wall thickness of vinyl fuel tubings holds foam piece in place.

Very good idea, Levent! Will try, but just need to check if the black foam is nitro-resistant?

You are right, if not fuel resistant then I want to try foam pipe insulation. I guess that those foams were made from polyethylene or neoprene.

How about robbing the aerator screen from your kitchen faucet and rolling a tube to go inside the fuel line? Or hitting a smoke shop for a pipe screen?
Either screen option should catch fine floaties and flotsam, and be nitro proof too!

Hi Jim, I also thought this and want to insert a rolled backplate air screen but gave up. Because a fine wire may freed from filter and goes into carb. Other than this wire can easily open a hole in silicone tubing due vibration.
