09 piston reset
How much play before you must reset? I have an 09 with a fraction of play, almost not noticeable.

Re: 09 piston reset
That sounds OK to me , have you ran the engine much ? 0.002 is the correct tolerance some people have been resetting theres before the metal gets hardened from heat .

Re: 09 piston reset
And watch out for sloppy conrod big-ends...I have a couple of .09 Medallions that I thought had too much ball/socket slop. When In pulled them apart for reset, I found the ball/socket was ok. The big-ends have all the play. Even scoring used piston/cylinder sets (twice now) yielded worn conrods.
