And Yet Again, I'm hurling things from my planes!!!

Three or so weeks ago, I posted a photo of a glowplug, being chucked into the air from the O.S. .25 that powers the Butterfly.

So yesterday, I managed to ruin my perfect record of never losing a Go Pro in flight (had a few knocked off from impacts, but that doesn't count!).

Flying my Charlie Bauer-built Nobler with a Go Pro camera on each wing, I managed to fling the inboard camera off into space during an outside pushover.

Luckily for me, ole "Eagle-Eyed Billy" was on duty, and found the little Go Pro before I'd gotten the plane back to its stand!

It was still working after its bounce in the wonderfully trimmed grass of the Crop Circle---courtesy President Ronnie!

There Will be video posted of this epic fail/victory!!!!!

Law of averages, or Murphy’s Law, it was gonna happen soon or later! Glad it was over dry land, mowed no less! The video must look like the ones on the Estes Rockets on re-entry. lol! lol!

That happened to me in 2016 with a PeeWee powered free flight model. The airplane was a lot smaller and the field a lot bigger. It took me days to find the camera back.

Philly Fliers had our annual picnic. The threat of rain was with us and a occasional drizzle here and there but all in all a good time. We had a timed speed event for .35 sized engines with a baffle piston. 7 laps were timed upright and 7 inverted. When ready for the clock, you raised your hand and timing began. After the upright timing, you raised your hand to signal inverted flights and timing once again started. My son and I took a 3rd place using a Combat Streak and Fox .35. The 2nd place winner was using a ABC Merco.35 which was obliterated after a burn down run. I should've taken a picture of the head afterwards, totally black and no compression left. Pretty stupid thing to do but it wasn't mine. First place was had by no other than "Philly Skip" and his Ares. This made absolutely no sense as this is a big stunter and it was sporting a OS .35 MAX-S. It was incredibly fast.
