Brodak 1/2A stunt

Brodak 1/2A stunt
My buddy Frank will be flying 1/2A stunt at Brodak's this week. Last Sunday, he was getting the plane dialed in a bit more. He built a very attractive Brodak 1/2A Pathfinder with a Norvel .061. The stock head was replaced with a Kamtechnik Nelson plug adapter. Prop is a APC 5.7x3 which is the older scimitar version. It seemed to be doing quite well. I hope Frank does real well. Appearance points are offered at Brodak's. I don't know why we don't see appearance points more often but I build all of my models and I value the judges opinions. Frank went to a lot of trouble to build this and his rewards should benefit him.

He did a very nice job , he should get high points for the build. The Norvel should make it scream

I used to attend the AMA Nationals in Muncie and in Vincennes, IN when all the events were flown over a one week period. The quality of finish on models entered in the control line pattern and in pylon racing was absolutely outstanding. The amount of work required to achieve such a finish must have been horrendous -- couple that with the hours of practice needed on the same model shows a complete dedication to the sport.

Nice looking bird, A lot of attention and thought went into it…. I’m sure a lot of practice too….
I agree, Appearance is important in our creations…. Good luck to Frank!…. Let us know how he does….
