Identifying this Cox configuration

This is one of the numerous component combinations that one can build around the very versatile COX TeeDee 049 engine base design.

A "diesel" head that changes the fuel from methanol based to kerosene based, with the engine output significantly reduced.

An RC carb that enables rpm control (even though maybe less efficient than on a TeeDee050 that has no sub-piston induction aka SPI).

And a muffler that reduces engine sound power - at the expense of some performance again, due to the SPI of a Tee Dee 049.

This engine mod was done probably for an antique SAM category plane where performance is not critical, and the engine sound thus resembles the old diesels and sparkies of the antique modeling era.

Unless noise reduction is a must, I would keep the RC carb on it but remove the muffler, while swapping the diesel head to a high compression COX head. Fuel from then on is glow fuel.. Why put cuffs on a stallion? Of course I understand other COX users may be less performance-orientated.
