Very interested in your build. I built a 400 series Guillow's 109 for .020 free flight. It worked out well. I used the extended wing with the dihedral suggested for the RC model. I want to try the Zero as a control line model. Problem is I don't know much about control line. I see that you moved the bell crank to the bottom of the wing. Is this too make sure the bell crank is under the center of gravity?

I would like to see a picture of your 109 . The Guillows design has the control line external of the wing . Since I routed the lines through the wing , I had to lower the bell crank

A couple of pictures of my free flight Guillow's 109. I was asking about your lowering of the bell crank location because of an article I read. It was a Flying Models magazine article from Dec 1950. It talked about U-Control installation. It said that the bell crank must be behind the balance point. But it also said it must be at or slightly below the center of gravity. I thought maybe you lowered yours for that reason.Guillows ME 109 C/L Build - Page 3 124
