disappointing purchase
A disappointing purchase I was looking for parts for my atwood I bought this wasp .049 because they are practically the same but very disappointing the engine has no compression but fortunately I have a cylinder in good condition hoping that the head of the engine is the right model and that I can use it on the atwood
I hope the other two engines are in better condition otherwise they cost me a lot for engine parts

Re: disappointing purchase
Hang in there David, parts are always valuable. You never know what your going to pick up next that will complete an engine. One of the best feelings, getting an engine to run again through your own ingenuity.

Re: disappointing purchase
Glad to have found a problem. Weird though but I'm happy. after having looked more closely at the engine and having done a quick but effective test I realized that the glow plug seal was not sealed Something Quickly detect with soapy water but also the motor head and a screw of the back plate is leaking And yes, nothing less than a simple gasket will fix. the problem. I found...or I should say found the engine head gasket missing and what I'm thinking is if it should have one.??? So I can say find something missing tink The glow plus is very tight but leaks so I unscrewed it and changed it to use it on my ok .074 and made an exchange between the two bingo I solved this problem in less time than it took to tell it The seal is good with the other glow plug and I have adequate compression for starting but first I will have to fix the other small leak and for the engine head I have temporarily used castor oil just to confirm that the engine has indeed compression Not so bad for a .049 I would even say good .. Now wit the most important parts... the engine head needle and the possibility of using both engines !! I like that
And today, a funny coincidence, I found something strange, something useful and a piece that i was missing for my ok .074 if you look quickly you would think you saw two glow plugs for .049 but !!!!! one is modified to be used on a .020 improvement in cooling and even the possibility of using the heat sink of the .049 car model humm mabe cooling for a tee dee .020 boat
