Just spin the tire with your fingers. Or, you could do what the kids used to do - flip their bikes upside down, one kid would petal while the other held the car's wheel to the bike tire.

i did, they are really easy to start, some guy had one at our local flea market when i was 7.
he had built himslef a friction starter with an electric drill and an rc car tire, it was really funny ^^
