Can I reverse the throttle barrel to the opposite side of the venturi on this engine?? It is for a more convienient fuel line route in my JR. Satan build!! Thanx!

Yep...just be sure to get the spraybar hole back in at the same angle.

I think Zac was too, unlikely he's got a throttle on a Little Satan which
I think is one of these roundey roundey planes. John

Yep, roundy roundy, that's it. But his is a Junior Satan, not a Li'l Satan. 29" wing.proctor wrote:Kim wrote:Oops...sorry...I was thinking about the spraybar assy.

I have both actually!! The Jr.Satan with a .15 is going Rock....It says that this plane is 11-13oz when done ...The LiL Satan is 7 oz on a .049..This Jr Satan is going to be one fast plane...I already have the time vs. speed with a 52' radius...so coming up with speed data is going to be easy.

Re: Medallion .15
For a speed comparison, in tenth grade I flew a Junior Ringmaster with a cut down wing and the first version Cox TD.15 on a balloon tank ( I'm 63 now). Official winning time and my first modeling trophy was 75 MPH.That was on 52foot lines.I later built a Jr. Satan with a Super Tigre .15 on a pressure tank. That was a fast plane! On a Cox TD or Medallion .15 a 7-6 prop works good for speed. For towing a streamer maybe try a 8-5 cut down to about 7 1/2"-5.Make sure you post some pictures for use to drool over.

Re: Medallion .15
With the Medallion .15....it calls for a #9 Perfect Tank (2OZ)..Guys in here are complaining about wedge tanks..Do the Cox Medallion .15 work good with wedge tanks or do I need to look into another type of fuel set-up??

Re: Medallion .15
Not sure what the real problem would be with wedge tanks, it may be a performance issue, but we've used them since the 70's with plenty of good flying. Even the ratty old one on my Poulan Special worked great...right up to the time the lead-out failed at the bellcrank...
And I'm still running a wedge on my Jetco Shark 15.
Just my thoughts...
