How much are you looking to spend?
I've got a bunch of Babe Bee engines in various condition.

Cox 1/2A Texaco wanted
Hey Matt,
I`m looking for a 1/2A Texaco engine first brought out by Cox in 1988.
I prefer one with the stock .0625 carb throat not the .055 carb which did
not work well.

Sorry, we do not have any complete Texaco engines at the moment.
I am pretty sure the backplate venturi size of the first Texaco (1988) is the same as the ones we sell as a basic backplate.

looks nice, one thing that confuses me though... what's the deal with one fuel nipple on the back plate

The is the filler nipple where you fill the tank with fuel. The really old ones that were metal had two so you could choose which one you wanted to fill and it would overflow from the other. In this case you have the one, and then there is a tiny little hole (impossible to see in the picture) next to the filler nipple where it will overflow from when the tank is full.
