New #1 cylinder no longer for trade
Guys,
I just got my hands on a NIB Black Widow. It appears that the cylinder set was swapped for a #1 RC cylinder with a throttle ring also new.
I don't have a need for an RC cylinder set at the moment so I was wondering if anyone would like to trade for a new #1 normal cylinder set. I will post pics later. Trust me it's new......
Ron

They made a non-SPI cylinder with a #1 stamp?

No, I'm guessing he has a stepped #1 cylinder with a large exhaust throttle ring.
Re: New #1 cylinder no longer for trade
Beats me. I didn't check for SPI. It is stamped #1 and is factory ground with a throttle ring affixed.

It should work fine for you then. No performance difference.cribbs74 wrote:Beats me. I didn't check for SPI. It is stamped #1 and is factory ground with a throttle ring affixed.

It has SPI

However, it's no longer up for trade as I bent a fin on the cylinder when I was taking the head off....... too bad though as it is new. I suppose I will just blue it and run it.
Anyway, is it some kind of oddity?

I don't know, maybe an Estes pot luck random parts assembly. Or run it like it is. Might look cool. Has it got a metal backplate?
