I was going to make my own reeds but I don't know what mil. thickness mylar to use.
I wanted them to have more flex than whats for sale now.

Ours are .006" so you could try .004.

However, be careful about stiffness, as the last thing you want is a reed being so supple that it gets sucked into the engine.

Mind, you, it's not bad for us as we may get to sell you replacement engine parts lol!

Ya, not much holding that reed in place is there. Thanks for the info, I'm not crankbnder for nutten.
If you only got three years of cylinders left I better stock up.

They don't need to flex so much as they need to float.
