Where can I buy this?
Where can I buy this?
Take a look at this youtube video:
"How to Fuel Your cox engines .049 and .020"
without quotes
at 1:23, a Cox SureStart is shown with a muffle/catalytic converter (I guess?).
Where can I buy the Exact same thing for my Cox SureStart? Online Prefereably. I searched on the Cox, website but couldnt find it.
Thanks

Re: Where can I buy this?
I would say that muffler was homemade. It looks like he used a helicopter muffler.
Re: Where can I buy this?
Ok thanks!
Does Cox sell any of these already attached to engines? Or where I can get one elsewhere?

We are trying to talk Bernie (president of Cox International) into remaking mufflers for the .049/.051 engine but he said the tooling costs would be too high and not enough mufflers would sell to make it worth doing. Those helicopter mufflers don't come up too much but you could turn a standard Cox muffler into one with a "tuned pipe".
You can also sometimes find aftermarket mufflers like these Tatone mufflers

If you are looking for a custom muffler pre-attached, I would keep my eyes on eBay.

Re: Where can I buy this?
Awesome!
Next issue I realized is that the Cox 049 wrenches I have dont grab the cylinder quite right. Any tips/tricks you guys have for removing the cylinder and/or putting it back on?
