Hi Baastian I am just wondering what colour is the .010 you have?
Re: A lot of Cox engines
mr_cox wrote:It is the black version that came in the red/black box.
Ok I don't know if it will sell for that I think you should put it up for about $100
Re: A lot of Cox engines
I have always thought about coming up with a cox engine price guide. It never happened at least not yet for several reasons. One reason is what some people WILL think "who are you to say my engine is only worth that?" and "there is no way I could sell/buy my engine for that price". Another reason is the constant updating of prices and constant research.

I know I was keeping a look at the average price of a .010 in England and it was around £60 but the last 2 I saw went for less than £35 so are price on the way down? Only time will tell.
That would be good news for me but bad news for Baastian.

Re: A lot of Cox engines
Quite simply stated, given current world economic conditions, what would you expect a "bull market" for Coxes? Very many people have far greater concerns than buying "disretionary" items like Cox engines.

I dare say there is a big different between the demand for iPhones 4's and Cox engines.
Which is considered an "essential" and which is not? Consider the size of the market for each: how many teenagers want an i-Phone 4 and how many want a Cox engine?
(Cox loses big time))

I know I just used that as an example to show that its not just the current economic climate effecting prices.

I have an old iPhone I can repair, just by buying another screen, but instead of that, I prefer using my budget on Cox engines

Re: A lot of Cox engines
@ PV Pilot, I will send you a picture from an Queen Bee later this day. I will open the box secure, as they are never opened before! So you are sure it is Factory fresh.
general:
Time will tell what the prices of the engines will do. At first i did not had any plans to buy them allong with the planes I bought. However it feeled bad to let them fade away in the stockroom. Cox is my hobby and i like it very much to supply the engines to collectors, so I decided to take them over as well. I now have listed them here for a price that I dont make much profit on them, but i knew that before buying that. After buying all the engines from my friend, ship them to me and calculate from euros to dollars, I may be happy when I get $3,- for the trouble.
Planes are an diffrent story...
Got an additional offer: $*** for 6 babe bee engines, still in the original sealed cox shipping box (temporary not available)
Thank you all!
(p.s. telephones only give me stress, Cox engines unstresses me!)

Thinking the same thing! Hell, list the box with the 6 engines in it on eBay! Just do the math for each engine and add a little extra just because what it is. I'm sure someone would fall off their chair (like I did when I saw you shelf of engines) Maybe price it around $300, The engines have NO shelf wear and you get a factory box of them!

@ ideeman, at the time I got a empty box, I am willing to send it to you (if you are OK with paying for the shipping)
