Plane for a nano bee

Plane for a nano bee
I dont have the cash to buy the engine yet but should be able to save $500 in a matter of a few months.
My question, what model airplane could i fit this in? I do not plan to fly the plane or even run the engine, what size plane would I be looking for?

Re: Plane for a nano bee
Scale something you like down.
What you could do is take a full size plan of something with say an .049 on it, then measure the nano bee and shrink the plan until the .049 is the same size as the nano.
It will look correct anyway.
I like those Nano bees except I heard they are extremely short lived. So much so they should never be run.
So..... It's like jewelry, pretty to look at, but absolutely useless
Just kidding around Mitch, I hope you get one!

Re: Plane for a nano bee
Hey Mitch, ever since discovering and buying the tiny engines from Valentine I have wanted to fly one.
THe smallest one that I'd consider flying would be the blitz 0.05cc (0.003) for weight I'de try and stay under 2.5oz and it might have a chance of flying but since there is little data on these engines I wouldn't chance it.
Try to get something like a 0.1cc to fly first and if you get that right maybe move down as far as you're comfortable.

Re: Plane for a nano bee
A valentine would probably be the cheapest thing and they're usually pretty friendly.
The speed racer 0.098cc is a great engine, I still have mine and it runs great.

Re: Plane for a nano bee
Yeah man, they're great.
RGMs are decent and cheaper too but they're far less pretty and do not perform 1/2 as well.
