Tip: A use for used church Communion plastic cups

Since they are "tossed" anyway, after taking Communion I collect them and after washing them they make great containers for mixing small batches of epoxy. Then I "toss" them.

Best of all they're FREE and seemingly in huge quantities! Only catch being you'll have to go church to get them.

Cheapness implies poor quality, I think you mean inexpensive.
But good tip I also use takeaway container lids.

Though I have made the same observation about cheapness and poor quality here previously, I hold that than anything that is free AND useful is "cheap". Since they come at no cost to me how can they be "inexpensive"? I'm just using someone else's disposables after they are done with them.

In that regard I'm giving the plastic cups a "second purpose" and conserving a resource. Smile

Man, that word has a catch 22. I work sales, and stay as far away from the word cheap as possible. I mean, what sounds better;

Our phones are cheap
-or-
Our phones are affordable

IMO free implies Cost effective.

Both signs hang in my engine builders shop.

I just picked up about 200 plastic epoxy/pill cups at the dollar store, $1 per 50. I mixed up some extremely hot Loctite brand 5 min epoxy in them and they held firm.
