Re: Not Cox but rubber power!
Yep, definitely a P-51. Yeah, those sticks are so fragile.

Yes, P-51. But I noticed somehow I glued the ribs in backwards. Stupid! I'll have to fix it later. The plans are all online, several different planes.
I really should be working on my carrier planes though.

My friends watch me build my 1/4 scale planes, and say things like " I just don't have the patients to do something like that"...
Well,
Im gong to say the same thing about those little indoor FF planes.
They look so amazing when they fly though.

Re: Not Cox but rubber power!
How will that not break under the tension of the rubber?
BTW, I think you have the leading edge of the wing facing backwards.

Unless the camera angle is messing with the airfoil, I think you're OK. That's the left wing that is in the photograph --- the small triangular portion of the wing faces forward.
BTW, my apologies!!! When I clicked on the picture to blow it up, I cracked the trailing edge.

Rubber tension isn't a problem. What I haven't attached is the motor stick. And I think your right, I was looking at the picture last night and the airfoil on the wing didn't match the fuse. That's a relief, I know I would have done more damage fixing it than if I just made another.
