Blackhawk Models Nobler?
I see Mark has what looks like a Blackhawk Nobler as his avatar. I'm looking at buying one and would like to know what people think of it, which motor did you use, how it flies, and ect.

Re: Blackhawk Models Nobler?
Hi Duke,
I just had a look at the Black Hawk website. I don't know if you had noticed but the 1/2A Nobler should be the same as the plan you can find on Outerzone:
http://www.outerzone.co.uk/plan_details.asp?ID=2354
It is at least the same designer.
Lieven

Re: Blackhawk Models Nobler?
The Nobler i had as an avitar was my own designed, it wasn't till later when i came across the version designed by Dick Sarpolus. I'm not really sure of wing area of that version, but my plane really needs a built up wing, it was designed with flaps for a local contest.
Re: Blackhawk Models Nobler?
Thanks. I picked up the kit this weekend at the contest. It looks like a very nice kit. We'll see.

Where has Duke been and what is he up to
In another topic I plan to start this will make sense
I am interested if Duke ever did build this
mostly because I am currently on a nobler fetish...replacing my Ring Master Jone's to some degree

Hey Fred
I'm still here. Just laying low, but checking the forum when I can. I have a large fast pace project at work and it's taking to much of my time. I did build the nobler, for the 1/2A traveling engine.
Good to hear from you.
