Many years ago; A plumber friend of mine did some work at a woman's home. He noticed a rather large model airplane in her basement... He asked her about it, to which she replied; "It was my husband's... it's the last one left... there were a few more. I gave the other one's away, but no one wanted this one, because it's so big. My husband passed away... Would you like to have it?" My friend said yes, and thanked her. He later gave the plane to me.

It was an R/C scale-model of a B-24 Liberator w/4 Veco .19 throttled engines... and a w/s of almost 8 ft. Between the retracts, engines and control surfaces; there must have been "at least" 8 channels and possibly 10 servos.

I gave it to my Brother to store; while my life was in a transition... then a few years later..."his" life went through a transition... and when I ask him what happened to it... he says; "you don't wanna know Rog'...

I wish I'd taken some photos of it. It was a magnificent model.
