If it's the late J-3 Cub with the Sure start engine that's about what their worth, there isn't much nostalgia value, if box is still sealed and its mint maybe $100-$125 max. You can always go to eBay and do a 'advanced' search for completed sales for a better picture.
They actually were a pretty fair flyer for a plastic RTF, decent wing area, even had outboard tip weight. Designed by Mike Gretz? I'm not sure of production dates, '98-'99 to maybe 2003, 3-4 years production.

Re: cox yellow plastic cub control line model
still got mine...
Here's a pic of Li'l Jr. at the tender age of seven or eight. It was about this time we took the J-3 out for the first time, no biggie as I had put him behind the handle of the PT-19 one time when he was five. So I'd give him the handle and fired it up, hand launching it over the grass, a 1/4 lap and he proceeded to dump it, no biggie, do it again, give him the handle, fire it up and toss, smack into the ground! Needless to say he was getting kinda stressed as was O'l Dad, but we tried it again and again, probably 1/2 dozen times, until....you guessed it! I was giving him the handle upside down! The poor kid was scarred for years!

It's certainly a good looking model. Very detailed.

Yep, it flew pretty nice (for a plastic) notice the larger than normal wing and like I mentioned, actually had tip weight. I never did figure who it was the designed it, I visited with him at Kid Venture one year, his name was Mike, he had worked for SIG (but not the Mike that designed the Banshee) oh well it will come to me.
Re: cox yellow plastic cub control line model
My bud Patrick has one of these that he's gradually pounding to yellow dust. It was given to him this summer, and looks pretty good, except for some "tearing" around the landing gear/engine mount area. It's made of pretty pliable plastic, and apparently had something dropped or sat on the fuse that caused the damage, as it looks to not have been previously flown.
He wanted to fly it, so I shored up the damaged area with some light ply and super glue, and pulled the gear so he could fly in my frontyard circle, with me hand-launching the plane.
As Mark said, it IS a pretty good flyer for an RTF, though the wing/fuse area is not gonna stand up to too many more tumbling landings.
I've got some "action photos" but the site is not working for me at the moment. I'll try to get them loaded and edit them in here when the thing starts up.
