fuel primer-bulb to try
While at the pharmacy... I often check out the syringes for use as fuel primers.. but today I saw something I liked better. It's a "nasal aspirator" for sucking the snot and boogers out of baby's nose. Nothing new... but this one was different. It has a clear tip that "pulls-off" for cleaning, capacity is 1 liquid ounce and it has a "flat" on the bottom so you can stand it upright. The small hole in the nozzle makes for a compression fit with small fuel line. The rubber body's wall is quite thick.
Not a great seal between the clear nozzle and the rubber body... but nothing that a little RTV Silicone adhesive won't fix.
It is marketed by CVS Pharmacy Inc.

Great idea Roddie. I know a guy who uses an old eye drop bottle. I just don't have one to use and I'm to cheap to buy the eye drops and waste them just for the bottle. It works great and when the engine starts, he puts the cap on and drops it into his pocket. Another good thing is it only drips, no spraying.

Hey Duke.. yea.. the eye-dropper is a cool concept.. It made me wonder about using a nasal spray bottle... which sprays a "mist"... less chance of flooding and/or wasting fuel!
This aspirator at 1 ounce capacity, holds enough fuel for at least 3 flights when running a Black Widow... even more when running a Babe Bee. I used to keep a rubber cap on the end of my primer bulbs' hose, to keep dirt out of it and prevent leaking when setting it down.

I use those for wood glue with a surgical tubing cap to prevent drying.

yep, me too! It really saves on weight from too much glue, love using it on building wings.
