Need help with documentation
I picked up this ”flip-of-your-wrist“ throttle a few days ago for about six bucks, figuring that I could try it on a plane sometime. I get the general principle, but would like to see Cox's documentation to see how they hooked it up. I haven't been able to find any papers on the Cox Combat Mustang. Does anyone have a copy of the manual that can explain how Cox hooked up the throttle ring?

Cool! That's pretty much how I was picturing it in my head. Thanks for the link. I remember the thread, but I guess I didn't follow past the first few posts. When it got to sintering, I think I stopped reading. I guess I should read these threads all the way through.

edit: Hmmm.... Could be a way to eliminate the need for a remote release from a stooge. Make a clip that will hold the plane while idling, but when full up is flicked in and full power is applied, the thrust overcomes the clip resistance. I'll have to think on that one a little more....
