More "words to live by............
From one of my college alama-mater newsletters:
"A great educuation kindles the notion that life will always be about learning. It's not and end but a beginning."
Make of that what you will.

Yes, a beginning is important, as is an end, but sometimes we pay too little attention to what's in the middle.
"A great educuation" would probably teach you that there was no "u" in the middle of education.
(Maybe that's just my Aussie take on spelling).

May be it because I'm old and have lots of time to think, but I am who I am largely due to my education which taught me thae education is life-time journey rather than a destination.
The more I've learned during my lifetime the more have come to I realize my ignorance of SO many things. A recent tour through the Kennedy Space Center (Cape Canaveral) in Florida proved as much.
Life is good if you seek intellectual stimulation.

This seems like a good place to vent, so...
If one asks for advice, graciously consider it and let your advisor know how it worked for you. Lest the advisor give up on you and move on to more fertile and hopeful minds.

It's just as important to exercise your mind.. as it is your body. Keeping your thoughts positive and focused helps relieve stress. I believe that frequent writing as well as reading, is an extremely important thing to do. Whether it's pen to paper.. or keyed. It helps to keep the mind sharp.. and is a physical account of your thoughts expressed at that moment in time. We may not have much to leave behind in this life.. but to know who we were; is to read what one has written. I'd much rather peruse someone's old handwritten letters, chicken-scratch notes etc... than look through a photo album.
I got a little deep there.. just some food for "thought"
