On my "watches" I'm very carefull to repress some of my g'sons wilder ideas. Their parents (our children) would hold me responsible for injuries/damages.

Won't let them ride my Honda Trail CT-110 motorcycle either. If their parents want the g'sons riding THEY can buy the motorcyles, not me.

That's funny Super Dave,

I have a 1974 CT90, If I was going to teach a kid to ride, it would be on a bike such as this. No clutch and not very powerful.

I've had a series of CT-90's since they came out in the sixties. Great for trail riding in the mountains especially when equipped with the eight-speed sub-transmission lever. Seems they could climb a tree if you could hold on.

The CT-110 has just a slightly larger engine on the same sized "step-through" frame. Mine's and '82 model CT-110 that I got brand-new. Since I've been the ONLY rider it's always been respectfully ridden and maintain with 9K miles total.

It's current $$$$ value is multipules of what I paid for it and for that reason I always keep it carefully secured in a shed and chained to the floor.

I received mine as a partial trade for a 1966 CL77 I restored. I didn't think much of it at first although it eventually grew on me. The high/low range is great and I can go anywhere with it. It has under 4000 miles on it for now.

Great little bikes unless the fuel tank becomes rusted as they do on the older CT-90's. Rust raises havoc with the carburetor.

Althogh my '82 CT-110 tank doesn't rust I still use Stabil in the fuel system to prevent fuel-related problems. Key also is a good battery in any on the CT-series Hondas.

My current CT-110 is the most dependable bike that I've ever owned bar none. It can sit for months without running and still fire off on the first or second "kick". (Most of the parts are still available from Honda too)

Yes, every time I can at our cabin near Mt. Rainer, WA but only in the woods and off-pavement only. I only cross pavement to get to gravel roads and dirt game trails where the "elkies" are. Very Happy

I formerly had a Honda CR250 but with my vision problems it was too quick and tempting for me to ride any longer.
