Re: Reputations
There are a couple ways. On the upper right corner of the text box you will see a little grey bar with a plus and minus sign. If you touch the plus on that post it will give that specific poster a few rep points. Also if you hit the minus symbol it will take away that posters rep points.
When you hit the plus or minus is totally up to you, but use it wisely.
Also, when you write a new post you as the original poster have the option of thanking someone who provided you some useful information. When you "thank" someone they receive more points than the plus/minus bar.
So basically you have no control on how you receive points, but you do on how you give them.
Looks like someone has given you some for asking the question.
Hope this helps.

Re: Reputations
See the green bar to the right of your text, someone clicked the plus sign. Clicking the - sign makes a red bar and subtracts rep points. Also, in threads you create, there is a "Thanks" button. You can click it if you think someone gave a really good reply. This has more weight that the + and - buttons.Blue Eyes wrote:How do you get reputation points?

Looks like Ron beat me to it, here's my reply anyway.
