Happy Thanksgiving Cox_en13
...from the Cox Engine Forum!

I understand that Thanksgiving is mostly celebrated by a few countries and each has it on their own day. The 4th Thursday of November is the day the US celebrates Thanksgiving. You can read more about Thanksgiving HERE.

For the next few days, you can find the Turkey emoticon Turkey and the Turkey Dinner emoticon Thanksgiving Dinner on the main emoticon list. They will be moved to the other list afterwards.

Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving! -Admin

symbolically I still think national bird of the US should be the turkey rather than the eagle.

The eagle is a predatory scavenger that probably tastes terrible (I wouldn't know). The native turkey is smart and crafty. (Domestic turkeys are neither but the ARE tasty)

Benjamin Franklin favored the turkey too. Thanksgiving Dinner

No Thanksgiving here in Australia either. But Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate it.

Summer is commencing here, all the buzz here is about Christmas next month... Christmas is the start of our Summer school holidays which go though to February. Roast Turkey and Roast Pork are popular for Christmas dinner, but because it's so hot here, cold leg ham, turkey and chicken with salad are also popular choices for Christmas lunch, which usually happens outside at a picnic or while camping.

Leg hams are given to staff by employers for Xmas and because they last and you can slice a piece off when you feel like it. Great snack or for lunch while on holidays.
