I picked this up off of eBay last week.  A lightly used Sure Start.

My latest buy. _57_zps793e445b

I was the only bidder at $15.00 so it came to me.  I guess everyone figured $15 was too much for a used Sure Start.  At least I was hoping people would think that when I bid on it.  In fact, *I* wouldn’t pay $15 for a used Sure Start.  But, ever since I saw one, I’ve wanted one of those Sure Start tank mounts.  I was hoping no one else would notice or care.  I’m not sure how much they hold, but I’m guessing about as much as a Babe Bee tank.  I’ll be at the hobby shop on Friday, so I’ll pick up a small syringe and see how much goes in the tank.

Does anyone know what planes used these tank mounts?

I don't know about the tank, but I still think this was a good buy for $1.

It hasn't arrived yet, but for $1, who wouldn't add it to the collection?

Mark,  I have one of those tanks too.  I was looking at it a couple of days ago.  I think it is a really good set up, and am going to put it on a profile/slab wing plane.  I am interested to know how much that tank holds, so I will wait to hear back from you.  I am guessing it is a little less than a baby bee tank.  Andy

A tank mount, now that's one thing I didn't know was around. Wouldn't mind one of those either. I'm dying to put my modded sure start on my 1/2A skyray and try it out. (Bandit)
