I've got three Hornets that need to be unstuck and readied for flight. What's the best way to go with them as far as getting the things apart with breaking them?
Then, I've had people tell me not to load them too much with plastic props.
After that, they say don't let them wind up with short props!
I have lots of props, so a 6x3 or 6x4 Tornado Plasticote?
What about fuel? Is there a nitro percentage too high? 25%, 30%, 35%? Oil at 20% good?
Plugs, anyone got some new ones they want to trade or sell?
I wanted to put one of these in my Consolidated Corsair racer, "Joe", and other 1/2A coolness like a Super Stuntmaster or something. Do they draw well enough with the restrictor to use an external stunt tank?

For cleaning I soak in denatured alcohol for overnight or longer. After taking apart what comes easily I apply heat using a heat gun. The castor gum will bubble at the correct temperature. I carefully take apart in stages as I go. Allow everything to air cool to room temperature before proceeding to further cleaning.

Others report exceptional results from warmed automotive antifreeze overnight. I have never tried that method as it involves a dedicated warming pot such as a crock pot.

For running I am not familiar with the Holland hornet, so I can't help you any there.
